1. About LendLocally
LendLocally is a community platform that connects neighbors who want to share and borrow items. We provide the technology to facilitate these connections but are not a party to any lending arrangement between users.
2. Your Account
To use LendLocally, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform.
3. Sharing Items
When you list an item for sharing, you confirm that you own it or have permission to lend it. You agree to accurately describe the item's condition and any usage requirements. You are responsible for maintaining your items in safe, working condition.
4. Borrowing Items
When you borrow an item, you agree to treat it with care and return it in the same condition. You are responsible for any damage that occurs while the item is in your possession. Return items on time as agreed with the owner.
5. Fees and Payments
Some items may have rental fees or security deposits set by the owner. LendLocally may charge service fees for certain transactions. All fees will be clearly displayed before you confirm a booking.
6. Liability
LendLocally facilitates connections between users but is not responsible for the condition of items, the behavior of users, or any disputes between parties. We encourage users to communicate clearly and resolve issues respectfully.
7. Community Standards
All users must follow our Community Guidelines. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these standards.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
