  • Be on time for pickups and returns
  • Respect others' property as if it were your own
  • Be understanding if plans need to change

Be Honest

Trust is the foundation of our community. Keep it strong by being truthful.

  • Accurately describe your items — include any wear, damage, or quirks
  • Use real photos, not stock images
  • Be upfront about pricing and availability
  • Leave honest, fair reviews

What You Can Share

Most household items, tools, equipment, and gear are welcome on LendLocally:

  • Tools and hardware
  • Camping and outdoor gear
  • Kitchen appliances and cookware
  • Sports and fitness equipment
  • Musical instruments
  • Party and event supplies
  • Electronics and technology
  • Garden and lawn equipment

What's Not Allowed

The following items and behaviors are prohibited:

  • Weapons, firearms, or ammunition
  • Illegal substances or drug paraphernalia
  • Items that are stolen or that you don't have the right to lend
  • Hazardous materials without proper safety information
  • Counterfeit or knockoff products misrepresented as genuine
  • Harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
  • Fraudulent listings or scams
  • Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

What Happens If Guidelines Are Broken

We take violations seriously to protect the community:

  • First offense — Warning and guidance on how to correct the issue
  • Repeated violations — Temporary suspension of your account
  • Serious violations — Permanent removal from the platform
